At least, you need to take a walk for 4 or 5 days,  so you have to be healthy in order to have a good trekking experience.  The elevation of this hill is 3210 meters from the sea level. The height of this hill could be difficult to some extent.

  •  Hours of walk:  Walking each day 4 or 5 days may not be jock. Usually, the trek begins from Nayapul and it takes nearly 5 hours to reach Ulleri but, you will have to take a steep walk. Again, you would climb nearly three thousand stone steps in Tkhedhunga so the trek might be an exhausting experience.
  •  Elevation: Going on the nearly 300 meters higher  level might not be good some trekkers if they do not have a habit of walking
    Some hikers might face AMS when hiking to such places. The low flow of oxygen makes uncomfortable conditions so hikers have to take a rest.

Naturally, the weather is very changeable but it remains moderate in the summer but in the winter moves to -4 degrees. The best timing for trekking is Spring and Autumn. The weather of  Poon hill is pleasant.  Hiking on the top of hills might be problematic in the winter.

Taking a guide is not so expensive as compared to the other regions in the  Annapurna Regions. Even by hiring a guide, you could reduce the trek problems. It is very necessary to hire a guide in every trekking season so that you might be free from the risk of your journey.
